The 2nd weekend in November we headed to Park City for a birthday couples trip with some of our awesome friends. Not a single picture was taken of our carefree days spent binge eating, shopping, game playing, hot tubbing and laughing til our faces hurt without a solitary carseat, high chair or screaming/ interrupting child. But my babysitter back home did send me a picture of the fun time my kids were having without us annoying parental figures around. When I asked my Mom if we’d been mentioned or missed, she paused and said. “Um, I’m sure they miss you.”
