Day 3, we headed over to Cali Adventure.
What moron took these pictures?? Oh wait, that would be me
The E’ster pretty much had these character encounters down by now.
And all we heard about for months to come after this sighting was “Minnie, goggie.” ( no matter how many times he was told his name was Pluto)
Big M is a huge Phineas and Ferb fan, so we had to get a few pictures of them.
And as you can see, all 3 kids enjoy themselves some Playhouse Disney.
We may or may not have breeched security a couple of times as little E attempted to climb those stairs right up onto the stage.
Can’t trust that 2 year old!
We left for nap time and then ate at Joe’s Crab Shack that night.
Day 4, New Year’s Eve, we spent back at California Adventure while the rest of the world fought crowds at fully capacitated Disneyland.
We were able to do all that we wanted, and in a very timely manner.
We left for dinner and ate at PF Chang’s and then headed back for our show.
The Amazing World of Color!! Cool effects. Long wait. Hard to see, especially for the munchkins. That’s my synopsis.
Our complimentary New Year’s hats and a few crazy nighttime photos while we waited.
Our little photographer hard at work again.
Tower of Terror: I took the two older kids and got a spouse pass for D, my spouse.
Those children were crazy frightened as we plummeted over and over.
C was literally white faced and shaking while she hid against the railing, too scared to even let go and hold my hand.
I whooped and hollered, trying to convince them how fun it it was, and once it ended, M agreed with me.
But he didn’t wanna go again
I mentioned that if they weren’t brave enough to go again, then D would have to ride alone.
Then C simply said that she would ride again, and she grabbed her dad’s hand and headed straight to the line, declaring she really enjoyed this ride.
It wasn’t until about the time they climbed aboard that she admitted “Dad, I don’t weally like this wide.”
So he asked her why she went on it again and she said “I didn’t want you to have to ride alone!”
It was such a cute moment and I’m not sure she enjoyed it any more the second time.
Especially judging by the picture.
Horrible picture of Screamin, which this little wuss boy cried when he had to go on, and then loved it so much he rode twice!
The parks stayed open til 2, but the Fondue’s, unfortunately, did not make it much past 10:30 when they began serving alcohol and the atmosphere resembled that of a club versus a Disneyland Park.
As I mentioned before (u may recall)
we were awoken every. single. night.
The first night, M got scared, the next 2 nights, C wet the bed. (gross)
The next night, she got scared.
On this night, New Year’s Eve, the hotel’s fire alarm went off at 2 AM and woke us all.
Awesome.
