Waiting for bus 3.
What’s Disneyland without a few temper tantrums??!!
Dancing around while waiting for fireworks. I got some footage of him dancing around on main street with quite the crowd watching. So cute!
iPhones make him snap happy!
Fun with the princesses.
Judging by how many times she grabbed her hair, I think my daughter may have been a little nervous . . .
Lunch- Here again. Of course
After lunch, E fell asleep on his own. We took turns sitting with him while the other took the kids on Space Mountain.
As he slept a little restless- like, I began to wonder if something was wrong.
Before long, I could tell he was again feverish.
Which meant we only got about a day and a half of our sweet boy and his sparkling personality before he returned to being listless again. Poor fellow.
And we had no drugs on us.
So we basically took turns holding him the rest of the day.
That night, poor little E begged for ni night all the way home.
As soon as we got back to the room, I gave him Motrin and a bath while D ran to get dinner at Cheesecake Factory. (If it seems like most of this trip revolved around food- well, it’s probably true)
After his bath, E begged for bed again and so I tucked him into mine with cartoons on.
He lay there for about 5 minutes- til the Motrin kicked in.
Then he sprang from bed, completely wired.
I had to cease packing because chasing him around the hotel became a full time job.
I took away phones, remotes, and toys that came very close to being launched into the toilet and/or at the other two children who were in the bath.
Some things did make it into the bath before I could get there in time.
He unpacked bags, ripped up papers and drew on things with pen.
I could not believe what was happening!!
Finally, I got the kids’ room packed enough I could lay him in his bed and he told me “ni night” before rolling over and going to sleep.
I finished packing and then D returned so we could eat our late dinner and put the other two to bed.
Then I sat in the family room, ate my Godiva and key lime cheesecake (yes I had both) and watched the first episode of The Bachelor.
We had no interruptions that night!!
But we did get up early to hit the road.
We drove straight through (hurray for DS’s) and even skipped dinner and passed our house to make it just in time for D’s basketball game (hurray for bball)
The whole drive home, I was having sinus issues and by the time we walked in the door, I was certain I had a sinus infection.
Hurray for more sickness!!
