P.S. From last post:
Forgot to mention how we pulled out D’s mission cassette tape containing his rendition of “Don’t Take the Girl” that he sung to his girlfriend back home.
We all had a great time listening to it at his expense.
His 30th celebration wouldn’t have been complete without it
We found out the kiddos had no school the Friday and Monday in January after we got home. Can’t remember why. President’s Day?
Anyway, it was killing me not to take advantage of the opportunity to do something fun.
So we made a last minute plan and left literally less than 24 hours later for a short little jaunt to St. George with some of our friends.
We had a great trip shopping, eating, swimming, visiting the temple, watching “We Got a Zoo” and seeing
the famous red cliffs.
Don’t worry, after this picture I turned the flash off and discovered a whole new world where the pictures actually turned out!

The trip was great other than M losing one of his cutest jackets and me getting sick once again.
Or maybe I was still sick.
So I had either the same- or a new- sinus infection, and by the last day I lost my sense of smell.
A couple of days later, I lost my sense of taste.
I decided it was time to ask the doc for a prescription!
